Actor Headshots

I was delighted that Holly approached me for her Headshot Shoot.  I was so impressed that she has spent some of her time during lockdown researching the casting agencies she wishes to apply to which could kick start her dreams of becoming a budding child actor.

I approached the session by asking her which kind of characters would she like to play in order for the photographs to depict the perfect style and then we travelled through her house and garden looking for the correct light and backdrop.  I’ve learned over the years, that sometimes the most unassuming wall can create great results so we headed to Franks kennel, the bathroom and finally her games room which had the added bonus of windows on two opposite walls so the light entering the room was beautifully even.  I didn’t bring studio lighting or reflectors, I knew that with cleaver positioning  we could capture well sculpted, natural portraits. I love love love her moody shots!!
